(d) Economy Act determination & findings (D&Fs) shall be approved by a SES member or a General Officer as follows:
(1) For ASC, approval shall be by ASC/CC. See ASC/CC 18 Nov 06 policy memo on MIPRS.
(2) For AFRL, approval shall be by the Technology Director (TD), if SES/General Officer (GO) or other on-site SES/GO TD. For sites without an on-site SES/GO TD, approval will be AFRL/XP. This authority is delegable no lower than a SES/GO.
(3) For ESC, approval shall be by the Commander/Director of the Requiring Directorate, as long as the individuals are SES/GO; otherwise ESC/CC. This authority can be delegated one level below, as long as that individual is a SES/GO.
(4) For all others, approval shall be by the SCCO as long as the individual is an SES; otherwise one level up to GO/SES.
