This subpart provides Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Contracting Officers' Representatives (CORs) and Contracting Officers' Technical Representatives (COTRs) a reference on many of the factors that surround their duties. Included are definitions of key terms, a brief summary of the environment in which the COR/COTR works, responsibilities of each of the participants in the acquisition process, and other information to assist CORs/COTRs in accomplishing their duties successfully. It is important for all to understand that this is only a guide. Recommendations on improving Subpart 90.6 may be provided to J-72.
