(b) If more specific statutory authority exists, do not use the Economy Act as the authority to acquire goods or services through a non-DOD agency or another DOD component. For guidance pertaining specifically to non-Economy Act acquisitions, see Subpart 17.96, below, and DLAD PGI 17.96.
