The contracting officer may insert the clause at 5352.247-9001, F.o.b. Origin, Freight Prepaid, substantially as written, in Section F when the contracting officer and transportation office determine it is in the best interest of the Government to authorize prepaid freighting charges (e.g., origin of shipment is Canada).
