(d)(10)(B)(90) The Small Business Specialist’s (SBS) review of acquisitions over $10,000 includes task orders and delivery orders. Use of blanket DD Form 2579s may be used when the SBS and contracting officer determine it is not necessary to review individual orders. The DD Form 2579 should be marked “Blanket” and specify any stipulations for use of the blanket. Each order using a blanket DD Form 2579 shall include a reference in the contract file stating where the blanket DD Form 2579 is located. See IG5319.201(d)(10)(B) for additional DD Form 2579 guidance.
(91) SBS review is not required for funding actions and exercise of options (if the options were previously coordinated with the SBS) under existing contracts.
