The effectiveness and integrity of the source selection process requires control of information related to the source selection. To aid in control of this information, ensure that the notice required by AFFARS MP5315.002 receives wide distribution within the AFMC organization conducting the source selection. This can be accomplished in multiple ways, including at a minimum, sending a copy of the notice to all local organizations impacted by e-mail, including the notice in local contracting or other functions’ bulletins, or any other means that ensure maximum communication.
