(b) Contracting officers shall obtain COCO coordination prior to submitting FAR, DFARS, AFFARS, and AFMCFARS class deviation requests to the local legal office for review. The local Clearance and Program Support office shall then review and submit the request to the SCCO for coordination. Contracting Officers may use the Deviation Request Template (FAR Deviation Agency Approval Document). For AFNWC/PKM, the COCO shall submit class deviation requests to the OO-ALC Clearance and Program Support Office for processing. Submit requests for class deviations through the SCCO to HQ AFMC/PKQ for processing. Furnish local legal office coordination with the request.
(v) Class deviation requests to HQ AFMC/PK must comply with DFARS 201.402(2).
