HQ AFMC/PK issues the AFMCFARS under authority prescribed in AFFARS 5301.301. When awarding contract actions for other MAJCOMs or other departments or agencies, AFMC contracting officers shall comply with the AFMCFARS. Local contracting policies are not authorized. Issues/topics/concerns of a local nature should be presented to the center Chief of Clearance and Program Support for presentation and discussion at the MAJCOM Enterprise Policy Process Board.
