A Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) must be developed for each contract for services, and also for supplies where higher-level contract quality requirements are required. Those plans must be consistent with and may be included within the over-arching project QASP (PQASP) described in
NPR 8735.2, Management of Government Quality Assurance Functions for NASA Contracts.
