The plant clearance officer shall-
(1) Record the reason for disposing of the property-
(i) As scrap and salvage;
(ii) By abandonment or destruction; and
(iii) By noncompetitive sale;
(2) Use DD Form 1641, Disposal Determination/Approval, to record disposal determinations; and
(3) File the completed form in the plant clearance case file.
