E11 52.246-9G10 LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GASES QUALITY DSCR (SEP 1996)
AND ASSURANCE

(a) Unless specifically requested by the Contracting Officer,
testing of liquefied petroleum gases (propane, butane, and mixtures
thereof) to assure conformance to Federal Specification BB-G-110,
is not required. In lieu thereof, the contractor will obtain a
statement from all manufacturers from whom he buys bulk gas, that
the LPG supplied was manufactured in accordance with the recommendations
of the Natural Gas Processors Association, NGPA Publication No. 2140.
(b) LPG shipments to the Government are limited to material
manufactured in accordance with the recommendations of the Natural
Gas Processors Association, NGPA Publication No. 2140.
(c) This clause does not waive the right of the Government to
require or perform specification testing to confirm compliance with
the applicable product specifications.
