DSCR H6J: MODIFICATION TO ADD STOCK AND ISSUE PARTS

Parts that are received by the contractor under the Corporate Contract
that are inspected upon receipt and determined (jointly by DPRO and 
the contractor) to be parts that were not originally procured from same 
contractor will be processed as follows:

    (a)  Parts that are new/unused and have no visible quality problems 
will be stocked by the contractor in a Government only stock bin.  
These bins will be separate from the contractor's current commercial 
stock bin.

    (b)  Parts that are not new/unused but still usable will not be 
stocked by the contractor.  These parts will be dispositioned by the 
ICPs with the help of the local DPRO.  Parts that are determined to 
be unusable due to quality will be dispositioned by the local DPRO.  
These parts will be scrapped in accordance with local DPRO scrap 
procedures.  DPRO will advise the ICPs of its disposition.

    (c)  The contractor will fill only MRO requirements from the 
Government only stock bin.  This stock will be used before Government 
stock commingled with contractors commercial stock. The contractor 
will not sell this stock to commercial customers.

    (d)  MRO will be processed the same as under the terms of the 
original contract with the same pricing and handling fee agreement.  
The contractor shall provide for preservation, protection and 
maintenance of the Government inventory in accordance with sound 
industrial practice.

    (e)  The Government agrees that the parts in this stock were 
never originally procured from or bought through the contractor.  
The contractor disclaims any liability related to or in connection 
with the use of these parts.  Any quality problems found with 
these parts while in stock at the contractor's or after delivery is 
the sole responsibility of the Government, with the exception of 
damage or defects resulting from the contractor's storage or 
handling of the parts.
