D4D 52.211-9G40 SKIDDING DSCR (FEB 1996)

Skidding shall be in accordance with MIL-HDBK-701C,
30 Sep 89. Skidding used to ship the machine to the
Contractor's plant may be reused provided the skids are
suitable and serviceable; otherwise, the Government will
furnish skids (unless the Contractor is not required to
furnish skids by contract) upon request to the Contracting
Officer. Non-serviceable skids must be verified by the
cognizant Quality Assurance Representative (QAR).
