    (a)  Requests for copies of specifications or data item descriptions cited in 
the specification may be obtained by submitting a written request to the supply 
point listed below.  The request must contain the title of the specification, 
the complete document number, date, applicable amendment(s), and the solicitation
or contract number.  When requesting a data item description, the request should
also cite the applicable data item number set forth in the solicitation.  Copies
of the DODISS and the Acquisition Management Systems and Data Requirements 
Control List, DoD 5010.12-L, may also be ordered.
