L57 52.217-9G03 ALTERNATE OFFERS - ITEMS UNDER DSCR (JAN 1996)
AND THE DoD STANDARDIZATION PROGRAM

The item being procured has been assigned its own unique National
Stock Number (NSN) under the DoD Standardization Program. Substitution
of a manufacturer's item other than the one cited in the procurement
item description (PID) is unacceptable. Manufacturers wishing to have
their product evaluated for NSN assignment may submit data to the
Contracting Officer. This data will be forwarded to the appropriate
Service Engineering Support Activity for evaluation and consideration
under the DoD Standardization Program. Award of this solicitation
will not be held-up pending evaluation of any offers other than those
offering the product of the manufacturer cited in the PID.
