I29A 9-3A FIRST ARTICLE TEST REPORT ALT II DSCR (JAN 1996)

The Contractor shall notify the Administrative Contracting
Officer (ACO), DCMA at least days prior to the beginning
of First Article Approval Tests of the time and location of the
testing so that the Government may witness such testing if it
so elects. Contractor is required to hold one approved First
Article unit until final production run has been approved and
accepted. The First Article unit(s) shall be shipped as part
of the contract quantity in the final shipment. In the case of
Indefinite Delivery Contracts, the unit will be held until final
production run has been approved and accepted on the first
delivery order. A DD Form 250 signed by the QAR will accompany
the First Article Test Report submitted to the Government.
