D4G 52.211-9G43 SPECIAL MARKING REQUIREMENTS
AND DSCR (MAR 2004)

(a) MARKING OF SHIPMENTS (MILITARY PACKAGED ITEMS
AND/OR ITEMS ENTERING THE DEFENSE TRANSPORTATION
SYSTEM)-(DELIVERY ORDERS).
(1) Marking shall be in accordance with
MIL-STD-129P, Standard Practice for Military Marking,
15 Dec 02.
(2) Any additional markings required shall be
as specified in the delivery order and shall include the
following information:
(TCN) AS SPECIFIED IN INDIVIDUAL DELIVERY
ORDERS
(PRI) (RDD) (PROJ)
(TO)
(OVERSEAS ADDRESS)
(b) MARKING OF SHIPMENTS (COMMERCIALLY PACKAGED
ITEMS).
(1) Marking shall be in accordance with ASTM
D3951, Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging.
(2) Any additional markings required shall be
as specified in the delivery orders.
(c) ASBESTOS LABELING. Any shipment which includes
asbestos shall be labeled in accordance with paragraph
5.5.8.1 of MIL-STD-129P.
