D11 11-9A SPECIFIC NSN DSCR (FEB 1996)

Contractor will affix the permanent (specific) NSN to equipment
data plates, container markings, and other documents required by
the contract in lieu of the temporary (generic) NSN reflected in
the solicitation. If specific NSN assignment is not indicated
below, contact the Administrative Contracting Officer. Marking
of items under a Generic End Item identification must be an NSN
referenced to a (specific) manufacturer and his make or model number.
