THE OPTION INCLUDED IN THIS SOLICITATION IS MANDATORY.  FAILURE TO 
PROVIDE OPTION PRICES MAY RESULT IN REJECTION OF YOUR OFFER.

    The option evaluation will be based on the total of the basic 
requirement plus the option.  In the resulting contract, an option 
may be exercised for a minimum of 25% of the contract quantity
up to a maximum of 100%, in 25% increments.

    The evaluation will be by line item and the Government reserves 
the right to make a split award, unless the offeror stipulates all or 
none in his offer.  Failure to indicate a price for each quantity 
option for the line items where a price is offered for the basic 
requirement may result in rejection of your offer.

    If prices are required on both an origin and destination basis, 
option prices must be offered in the same manner.  If award is made 
on an f.o.b. destination basis, all or any part of the total option 
quantity for any item may be ordered for delivery to any destination 
shown in the contract at the option price offered for such destination.

    If the option unit price is higher than the basic quantity unit 
price, any economic price adjustment clause in this contract does 
not apply to any of the option units added to this contract.  The 
Government reserves the right to not include option prices in the 
evaluation of offers without notification to the offeror, if it is 
determined that the option will not be exercised.  Reference FAR 
Clause 52.217-7 (Section I) and either FAR Provision 52.217-5 
(Section M) or 52.212-2 for specific information.
